Abstract

Rapid technological advancements demand innovation in teaching methods and learning media to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. This research aims to develop learning media in the form of animated videos to improve the learning experience. The main reason for this research is the need for teaching materials that are interactive and visually appealing. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The research design used is a mixed method that combines qualitative and quantitative techniques. Data was collected through teacher interviews, documentation, validation sheets (primary data), and relevant literature such as books and journals (secondary data). The validation results showed an average score that was categorized as good. Media experts give "excellent" ratings, subject matter experts also give "very practical" ratings, and linguists give "very accurate" ratings. In conclusion, the animated videos developed are valid, feasible, and effective to improve students' learning motivation, comprehension, and learning outcomes.
